Merwin and Hubbard patent single action revolver by Hopkins and Allen, .44-40 cal., 7-1/2" barrel, solid top strap with square butt, hard rubber grips, mounted with lanyard and factory nickel plated, serial #16572.The revolver remains in very good+ original condition showing 60-80% original nickel, some light cleaning and areas where nickel have lifted show minor erosion and pinprick pitting just starting. The markings aresharp, the edges are crisp, the grips are very good, the bore good to very good, and action is tight and timing well.
