Cased Colt Model 1862 Police percussion revolver, .36 cal., 4-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #21271. This gun is in overall fine to near excellent condition showing approx. 85% original blueon barrel and fluted cylinder with approx. 85% original case colors on the frame, hammer and loading lever; crisp action, fine bore, sharp markings, all matching visible serial numbers with the letter “L” at each number;traces of original silver in protected areas of the trigger guard and backstrap; fine grips; wood case is in overall fine condition with older well-done maroon re-lining; key operates the case lock, accessories includean eagle stand-of-flags brass flask that is in very good condition, a combination nipple wrench/screwdriver, a correct blued Colt’s Patent bullet mold, an Eley Bros. cap tin and misc. cast lead balls; a desirable cased ’62 Police from an old collection.
