Unusual small saber from Balkans to Greece; the sword measures 27" with 23" blade, the grip is of marine ivory, the D-shaped guard is lightly engraved. The blade shows a pronounced curve towards the last 6", and the blade measures 1-1/4" across widest portion. The right side of the blade shows a "VL" and 21844. The condition is fair to good, small chip from the grip; blade shows a heavy patina with some moderate to light pitting. Seldom seen. Est.: $200-$400
