Colt 1851Navy revolver fourth model, .36 cal. percussion with capping groove cut into right side of recoil shield, serial #123756. The revolver remains in good to very good condition showing a light gray to brownpatina with traces of blue and case hardening mixed in, light to moderate scattered erosion and pinprick pitting, 60-70% cylinder scene; grips are very good+ with 75-85% varnish, some wear at the edges, minor nicksand mars. The backstrap and trigger guard show 20-30% darkened original silver plate. All matching visible serial numbers and matching wedge, good tight action, bore slightly rough but generally very goodoverall, with exceptionally nice original grips. Est.: $2,500-$5,000
