Winchester Model 1873 lever action rifle, .32-20 cal., 24" octagon barrel, full magazine, crescent butt, retaining considerable original blue finish, serial #563946. The rifle shows 50-70% originalblue drifting to a brown patina with some light areas at the edges, minor scratches, and normal aging. The markings are sharp, the edges are crisp; the hammer and lever show traces of case hardening, the loadinggate shows 60% blue. The front and rear sights are in their proper dovetails. The stocks show a coating of varnish but no sanding, and are at least good to very good. The markings on the lifter are sharp, action good, bore very good and still bright. Est.: $900-$1,800
