Scarce Marlin Model 1887 DA .38 cal. revolver, blue finish, hard rubber grips, serial #8483. The pistol retains 40-60% original blue that is still bright, and metal surfaces where finish has drifted, gone to a light grayish brown patina. The hammer and trigger show 75% case hardening and the trigger guard shows 85% blue. The grips are good with some slight edge wear, metal is crisp, action tight, bore very good.
