Manhattan Firearms Company .36 cal. pocket Navy pistol, showing 5" barrel, period scroll engraving, varnished burl wood grips, serial #24338. The revolver remains in good to very good condition with a gray to brownpatina finish, traces of blue and case hardening mixed in. The markings are good, the edges are crisp, the engraving is still fairly sharp. The grips retain 30-50% varnish, some minor nicks, mars, small losses and tacking marks on bottom. All matching visible serial numbers, good action, good overall, traces of silver on guard. A very decent original period engraved Manhattan. Est.: $900-$1,800
