Large spear point dagger or dirk with 7-3/4" blade, 12-7/8" overall, iron guard, carved bone grip, silver mounts. The blade and guard show some light pitting, but otherwise good condition; the grip is nicely carved and shows a split. The ferrell and cap show fancy designs. A very attractive 19th century dirk that is most likely English; our consigner notes states: "S. Osborn Sheffield best refined cast steel" is markedunder the handle but we did not want to remove the grip. Est.: $500-$1,000
