Collapsible telescope with engraved plaque that reads "The Lord Bury Telescope, sole manufacturer, J. H. Steward, 106 and 430 Strand 54, Cornhill, London number 2273". The top of the scope is also beautifully hand inscribed by the maker with his name and address. The telescope measures 25" when extended, approximately 1-3/4" across the center of its lens, the optics are clear, there are some small chips around the edges;generally good overall, with some small tatters and losses to the leather cover.
