ALS, one page, 5 x 6.5, December 19, 1904. Letter to noted period bibliophile James Carleton Young. In full: “I have just received your letter asking if I will subscribe my name in a copy of the book entitled ‘Presidential Problems’ if the same is forwared to me. In reply I have to say that I will cheerfully comply with your request.” Double matted and framed with an original pen and ink portrait of Cleveland by noted artist Scott Prior to an overall size of 27 x 23. In fine condition, with some scattered light toning and creasing. Oversized.
