Lot 327 Pedro I of Brazil
Founder and first ruler of the Empire of Brazil (1798–1834). Scarce LS in Latin, signed “Petrus Imperator,” one page, 8.25 x 10.25, November 28, 1829. Untranslated letter signed as Emperor. In very good condition, with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, a uniform shade of toning, a few repaired tears, and pencil notations to top and bottom edges.
