Bank check, 7.5 x 3, filled out and signed by Sherman, “W. T. Sherman,” payable to Dft. Mrs. A. M. Thackara for $16.70, February 24, 1882. In fine condition, with a central vertical fold, two cancellation cuts, one affecting last couple letters of signature, tape to reverse of cut to prevent further separation, and some mild toning.
