Blues pianist, singer, and composer (1915-1988). He led a series of bands that, reflecting the popular appeal of jump-blues, included saxophones, bass, drums, and piano. French tour program, 9.5 x 12.5, signed and inscribed inside in blue ballpoint, “To Father Paul mon ami, ‘Best wishes’ Memphis Slim.” In fine condition, with a light brush to portion of inscription and surface impressions to front cover from signature on reverse. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
