Vintage matte-finish 12.75 x 10.25 Elmer Fryer photo of Barrymore as Svengali, affixed to a slightly larger mount, signed and inscribed in fountain pen on the mount to the film’s screenwriter, “For J. Grubb Alexander—with the sincere good wishes of John Barrymore ‘Svengali’ 1931.” Matted to an overall size of 20 x 16. Light to moderate silvering to edges of image and a photographer’s pencil notation to mount, otherwise fine condition.
