Lot 1368 Buster Keaton

Academy Award–winning American comic actor and filmmaker (1895-1966) best known for his silent films, his trademark was physical comedy with a stoic, deadpan expression on his face. Vintage oversized pearl-finish 10.5 x 13.5 Clarence Sinclair Bull photo of a somber Keaton, dressed in white, leaning against a wall, signed and inscribed in black ink to author Frederick Kohner, “To Dr. Kohner, Always yours, Buster Keaton.” Scattered creasing, primarily to corners and borders, with just a few to image and background, and a few light areas of rubbing to finish, otherwise fine condition. A striking photo, impressive in both size and crystal clear quality.
