^Lot 1414 Jayne Mansfield

Mansfield’s rare yellow AFTRA union P&W benefits card, one page, both sides, 6 x 4, dated February 14, 1964. Pension and Welfare benefit card is filled out in another hand listing her legal and stage names, Los Angeles address, birthdate, and Social Security number. Signed at the bottom in blue ballpoint with her full married name “Jayne Mansfield Hargitay” On the reverse, her husband Mickey Hargitay is listed as the recipient of her death benefits, followed by four of her five children including now famous actress daughter Mariska Hargitay. Stamped across the front of the card is “Deceased.” Several office notations, most of her signature obscured by the “Deceased” stamp, and wear particularly to the top edge, otherwise fine condition. A rare piece of Mansfield’s life—she would die only three years later.
