^Lot 1790 Babe Ruth

Vintage matte-finish photo of Ruth taking a gargantuan swing, closely trimmed around his image to an approximate size of 5 x 6.25, signed in fountain pen, “From /Babe Ruth 1947.” Image appears affixed to a larger black sheet and is double matted and framed to an overall size of 13 x 16. Several small creases, one passing through a small portion of signature, a few surface dings, a light brush to date, and a bit of light silvering, otherwise fine condition.
