Resin bronze was sculptured in the late 1980s, cast in Madrid in 2011. The corten steel base is engraved with an image of the Tara Brooch.Cynthia Moran Killeavy was born in Co. Kildare, a sister of Frances Bunch Moran, painter (1928-2002). She attended evening classes at the National College of Art, Dublin and later studied sculpture at St. Martin's College of Art, London. Since 1964 she has been based in Madrid, exhibiting regularly in group shows both in Spain and Ireland.
