Lot 200067 Connecticut Civil War Military Gold Antique Button
This is a military coat button from the state of Connecticut, dating from the Civil War period. The image has part of the state seal, and motto: "CONNECT SIG REIP." The button is gilt, with original coat backing. It is back marked from the maker: "SCOVILL'S & CO. EXTRA." It is approximately 9/16 inch in diameter. It is in very good condition.
