of Frederick the Great medallions. Bit stamped 8JP for the 8th Jager zu Pferde or Mounted Rifle Regiment which was stationed at Trier, also stamped with horse 115 on mouth piece. Bit has been cleaned, shows very good condition, ref. Bits and Bridles by Doctor Gerhard Malm page 263.
