in blackware, stair step rim with Kiva design around perimeter against highly polished background. Early signature indicates time frame between 1923-1925. An exciting find fresh from a Montana estate, bottom of interior shows light use marks with on very light imperfection on rim which does not detract from the beauty of the bowl. Art auction results show nearly identical bowl selling for $13,200 at the Santa Fe Art Auction. Bowl 5" tall X 10" diameter.
