^Lot 68 Soyuz TMA-3

Flown Soyuz TMA-3 YAW thrusters-engines holder. Piece measures approximately 9 x 7 and is made of a composite of ebonite, carbon fiber, and glass. Piece is mounted to a vertical stand and base with a plaque that reads, “Soyuz TMA-3 YAW Thrusters-Engine Holder.” This piece was part of the Soyuz spacecraft Thermal Control Protection System, which was essential to the protection of the craft and crew during reentry.
