^Lot 123 Liberty Bell 7

Flown screw from Gus Grissom’s Liberty Bell 7, recovered from the Atlantic Ocean on July 20, 1999. Corroded bolt measures approximately .5? in length and is presented inside a Lucite display with an image of the spacecraft, as well as printed information about the recovery. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center, which restored the capsule after its recovery and its original box.
