^Lot 339 Apollo 11

Commemorative plaque, presented to Jim McDivitt, for his part in the Apollo 11 mission. Wooden plaque measures 8 x 10 and bears two relief medallions, both measuring 2? in diameter, one of the Apollo 11 insignia, the other engraved “Beech Aircraft Corporation Cryogenic Gas Storage System.” Along with the medallions are two plaques which read, “Presented to Col. J. A. McDivitt In Commemoration of Man’s First Lunar Landing, July 20, 1969.” Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Novaspace as part of the Jim McDivitt Garage Sale.
