^Lot 400 Apollo 13

Flown hatch plug from the Apollo 13 command module Odyssey, approximately .75 x .5, recovered after splashdown. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Dick Williamson that reads in part: “This plug is one of several that are removed from certain areas of the spacecraft in order to gain access to deactivate systems/functions. This was done after the spacecraft was recovered aboard USS Iwo Jima in the South Pacific.”
