Color paperstock 8 x 10 NASA photo of Young posing in his spacesuit with a globe of the moon, signed in black felt tip, “John Young, Apollo 16, 9th Man to Walk on the Moon!” In fine condition, with a faint horizontal line passing through Young’s hairline. Making six spaceflights over a 42 year active NASA career, not only can Young claim the longest run as an astronaut; he also enjoys the title of being the only astronaut to pilot four different classes of spacecraft: Gemini, the Apollo Command/Service Module, the Apollo Lunar Module, and the Space Shuttle.
