All are 4 1/2% Registered Bonds Due 1997. 1) $1,000, red. 2) $5,000, brown. 3) $10,000, orange. 4) $25,000, olive green. 5) $ odd, turquoise blue. In 1956, Heublein, Inc., a successful company which imported distilled liquors including Smirnoff vodka, A-1 Steak Sauce, Grey-Poupon Mustard and Sizzl-Spray purchased the Maltex Company, creators of Maypo, a maple-syrup flavored hot cereal. Heublein Inc. acquired Kentucky Fried Chicken Corporation (KFC) in 1971, for $285 million. Heublein Inc. was acquired by RJ Reynolds in 1982. ABNC. XF.
