Company founded by Carleton Putnam, who turned a small California airline into a large midwestern airline, Chicago and Southern, which merged into Delta in 1953. He was Delta's chairman of the board. Carlton Putnam also had another claim to fame, his racial bias which he had proudly put into print included the books "Race and Reason" as well as "Race and Reality". I would say that these books today would not fall into the politically correct point of view. Rare stock certificates from controversial aviation notable. SBNC. Choice group.
