Waterhouse Investor Services, Inc. is a holding company engaged through its principal subsidiary, Waterhouse Securities, Inc. in providing discount brokerage and related financial services primarily to retail customers throughout the United States. Waterhouse Securities, Inc., commenced operations in March 1979 with four employees in a single office located in New York City. They merged with Toronto-Dominion Bank to form TD Waterhouse in 1996 and more recently the company was acquired by Ameritrade to form TD Ameritrade.
