The building was located at 120 Broadway and was known as the Equitable Life Building, occupying a one-block area at Broadway and Pine and has thirty-four floors. The original site was sold to the Equitable Office Building Corporation, organized by General T. Coleman du Pont, president of du Pont de Nemours Powder Company and built by him. In 1917, the Bankers Club was located on the thirty-fourth floor and the headquarters of the No. 2 District of the Federal Reserve System, the New York area, was located at 120 Broadway.
