The first is the front page of the short lived gossip newspaper that began publication in April 1709 and ended in January 1711. This is from Issue 80 – October 11, 1709. By Richard Steele under the name Isaac Bickerstaff, Esq. Framed size about 18” x 11”. The second piece is a newspaper illustration of unknown printing date. The piece is top dated at Dec. 1753. Framed size is 12” x 8”.
