Partly-printed DS, one page, 12 x 15, December 24, 1840. Governor Polk grants John Grymes 93 acres of land in Tennessee. Document provides a detailed description of the borders of the tract, signed at the bottom, “James K. Polk.” Partial separations along intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, a few areas of paper loss at intersection of folds, mild toning, and some light mirroring of text, otherwise very good condition.
