ALS, one page, 6 x 7, personal letterhead, June 15, 1935. Letter to an unidentified woman. In part: “My husband’s mother was Martha Bullock. Her mother was Martha Shenart. They were both born in Georgia.”; and a mailing envelope, 6.25 x 3.5, addressed in type to “Steinway & Sons,” postmarked May 18, 1932, and franked in the upper right, “Free, Edith K. Roosevelt.” In fine condition, with postal cancellation over franking signature and some light soiling to envelope.
