Pulitzer Prize–winning poet (1879–1955) whose works include ‘Valley Candle,’ and ‘The Emperor of Ice-Cream.’ Scarce TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, Hartford Accident and Indemnity Company letterhead, March 5, 1951. Short letter to William Seward at The College of William and Mary. In full: “I am very happy to present the copy of Auroras of Autumn which I sent you. I hope that you will accept it.” In fine condition, with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, and a bit of scattered light toning.
