Italian-born conductor and composer (1808–1884). ALS signed “M. Costa,” one page both sides, 4.5 x 7.25, no date. Letter to English violinist and writer William Bartholomew. In part: “Many thanks for the parcel received last night at 1/4 before 11! I will look at it on my return from the opera this afternoon.” Intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, scattered light toning, and a couple light pencil notations, otherwise fine condition.
