Lot 611 Ferdinando Paer

Italian-born composer and opera director (1771–1839) who was one of the first teachers of the young Franz Liszt. ALS in French, one page, 5 x 8.25, May 19, 1817. Untranslated letter to Madame Naderman in Paris. Reverse of second integral page bears an address in Paer’s hand. In very good condition, with paper loss to top right, intersecting folds, a diagonal crease to lower left, pencil notation to top edge, some light toning, and signature a bit cramped.
