Eminent German-American composer (1900–1950) best known for such evergreen stage works as the Threepenny Opera, Mahagonny, and Knickerbocker Holiday. I have asked immediately the photographers Zander & Labish to send you a photo of ‘Die Bürgschaft.’ I have also asked my publishers ‘Universal-Edition’ in Vienna, to send you some newspaper cuttings that are especially interesting.” Central horizontal and vertical fold, and some scattered light toning and wrinkling, otherwise fine condition.
