^Lot 933 Henry Calvin

American comic actor (1918–1975) best known for his role as Sergeant Garcia on the 1950s TV series Zorro. Personal check, 6 x 2.75, filled out and signed by Calvin, payable to the famous organization celebrating Laurel and Hardy, Sons of the Desert for $6.00, December 19, 1969. In fine condition, with a central vertical fold, cancellation holes to left side, and a couple of trivial spots. A neat connection as Calvin played Oliver Hardy in a memorable Laurel and Hardy sketch on The Dick Van Dyke Show.
