Former president of Yale University who served as Major League Baseball’s National League president from 1986 to 1988 and as baseball commissioner from 1988 until his death in 1989. Best-known for imposing the lifetime ban on Pete Rose as the result of Rose’s gambling activities. In fine condition, with light show-through from stamps on reverse.
