Philadelphia Eagles business check, 8.25 x 3, filled out in another hand and signed by Bell, “de Benneville Bell,” payable to The National Football League for $55.64, October 6, 1937. Check is endorsed on the reverse by NFL Treasurer, co-founder of the National Football League, and founding owner of the Dayton Triangles, Carl Storck (D. 1950). Check is housed in a 13 x 9.5 Beckett authentication holder. Expected stamps and cancellation holes, one showing through under Bell’s signature, otherwise fine condition.
