Important drawing by the man many believed killed George Custer. The earliest known drawing (most likely executed right after the Battle of the Little Big Horn) attributed to Lakota Chief White Bull, nephew of Chief Sitting Bull.
Mounted shadow box style and framed.

Provenance: White Bull (1848-1947) to Judge Francis Zahn of North Dakota (d. 1966). Judge Zahn was Sioux. His Lakota name was Lone Star and he fought alongside White Bull at the Battle of the Little Big Horn.
