^Lot 17 Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King Sword

From the blockbuster trilogy installment 'Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King' (2003), this is a beautifully detailed, all metal sword. The sword was one of many in a pile of swords that lay on the ground, which were used by the villagers to arm themselves with. This heavy steel sword is solidly constructed, with a detailed brass hand guard and a leather strapped handle. A growling lion's head emblem is affixed to the handle. The sword comes from a crew member who worked on the props in the movie, which was then passed on to a family member. A letter of provenance can be provided. (approx. 39" long). Oversized item.
