^Lot 53 Planet of the Apes John Chambers Business Card

This is an original John Chambers 'business card' from his days as a studio make-up artist. John Chambers was the legendary Make-up artist who pioneered many make-up techniques, among them the use of skull caps to create any number of facial effects. But it was his groundbreaking work on 1968's Planet of the Apes, for which he received an honorary Academy Award that he is most remembered. The card is printed on glossy paper stock and was his business card back in the day. Inscription on front reads 'John Chambers, Master of Make-up Artistry.' (measures approx. 4 1/2" x 5 1/2")
