An oversized film poster for the release of the 1968 Richard Donner comedy 'Salt & Pepper,' starring Sammy Davis, Jr. and fellow rat-packer Peter Lawford. The film tells the tale of two club owners (Davis and Lawford) who discover a body in their nightclub, and partake in a bumbling investigation which ultimately leads them to unearth a plot to overthrow the government. Poster is affixed to a cardboard backing and has small holes on it for display. (measures approx. 41" x 27"). This piece comes directly from a personal friend and jeweler of Sammy Davis, Jr. A letter of provenance will be provided. Oversized item. Additional postage required.
