From the 1942 Oscar winning Best Picture 'Mrs. Miniver' directed by William Wyer, this is a screen worn skirt worn by actress Dame May Whitty for her role as Lady Beldon. The skirt is light brown, heavy fabric with three buttons on the reverse that allow for the tail of the skirt to be raised. Label inside reads 'United Costumers Hollywood' and '971 C, Dame Mae Whitty.'
