^Lot 857 Jane Withers B&W (11) Still Lot

A lot of (11) B&W production and continuity stills of actress Jane Withers. Jane Withers was 20th Century Fox's answer to box office dynamo Shirley Temple. Cast as a scrappy little tomboy at age 8 in 1934's Bright Eyes, also starring Shirley Temple, her career was off and running. The stills feature her from her roles in such films as 'My Best Gal,' 'The Mad Martindales,' and 'Golden Hoofs.' Two of the stills have holes punched on the top and are known as 'keyhole stills,' stills used by production and placed in a folder. A couple of the stills do have tears on them.
