Lot 1030 Spiderman Theatrical Play Newspaper
This is a prop 'Daily Bugle' newspaper from the run of the Broadway musical play "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark." The play opened on June 14, 2011 and is still running. The show includes original music and lyrics by U2's Bono and The Edge and is the most expensive Broadway production in history. It was beset by budget overruns and injuries and has been called the most technically complex show ever done on Broadway. The prop newspaper features the story 'Wall climber hangs it up for good' and is signed by the original cast. (measures approx. 18"x 12")
