Lot 2ba Original Signed Lithograph Pierre Bonnard
lithograph in the manner of Pierre Bonard bearing the signature titled "La Passante" circa 1894, this painting of a stroller on a Paris boulevard was same year Bonnard produced a series of colour lithograph illustrating scenes of Paris street life. This shows the enormous influence of Japanese design on Bonnard's representation of figures and architectural forms. The style is one of suggestion rather than complete statement. Comes with certificate of authenticity, framing available at an additional cost.
