Lot 106 Jack Dean's Gold U.S. Marshal Badge
A custom gold peso badge Was a gift from U.S. Congressman Frank Tejeda. Jack Dean is one of only six Texas Rangers to ever be appointed US Marshal. After retiring as Texas Ranger Captain of Company D, Jack Dean was appointed US Marshal in 1993. Made from a 50 peso gold coin. Badge is a converted Texas Ranger badge, with the faint remains of the words Texas Ranger visible under Marshal.
