From ancient Egypt, Early Dynastic, Dynasty I-II, ca. 2920-2649 B.C. Hemispherical in form, on a flat base, the rim undercut on the interior. Probably a drinking vessel, but could also be a small bowl-type container. 2-2/3"H x 3-3/4"D, intact/excellent condition.
